Sampling and lab testing

Another service that we offer as a part of our asbestos survey is that of sampling and testing. The key thing to understand here is that it is not always possible to identify asbestos simply by looking at it – many materials that are completely safe to have in a property can look almost identical to asbestos. And, conversely, asbestos is often hidden as a component material, such as in cement.

As a part of our service, we can take a sample any potential asbestos containing material (ACM) and have it sent to a lab for testing. The results are usually available in under 36 hours.
