Asbestos Testing
Asbestos Testing
We offer asbestos testing services to clients across the UK, from Brighton to Southampton, the Midlands and London. Testing for Asbestos is vital. Asbestos can be present in any property built before 1999 when the material was banned from use in the UK.
It is very difficult to tell whether asbestos is present simply by looking at the material; the substance is ‘hidden’ within some materials such as Artex coating and cement, but additionally, many materials that look identical are actually harmless. At Crucial Environmental, we carry out an initial asbestos survey at your property, and if we find any material that we suspect may contain asbestos, we will test it in our UKAS accredited lab. This testing checks whether asbestos is present, and establishes the current condition of the asbestos.
