Asbestos: The Importance of Health & Safety
Asbestos can be very hazardous to health if disturbed or handled incorrectly. We are experts in concealing, securing, handling and removing asbestos in a wide range of buildings, whether it be commercial or residential.
Our management team have undergone numerous training programs over the years to bulk up their knowledge of asbestos health and safety. As such, we now have a wealth of experience in the construction industry.

Accreditations
Crucial Environmental are accredited by CHAS and approved by Constructionline, and all of our surveyors hold at least a BOHS P402 certificate. Each of our surveyors are also fully site certified, holding the relevant qualifications required to erect access equipment if and when needed.
For further information on who we are accredited by and what this means, please see below:
UKAS
Our accreditation with them determines that we, as a company, are technically competent to offer conformity assessment services. This entitles us to carry out tasks related to testing, inspection, calibration, verification and certification on behalf of buyers.
CHAS
CHAS work on behalf of contractors by reviewing their safety polices and associated procedures, processes, arrangements and records. Our accreditation with them ensures that we meet the sufficient health and safety standards they require, and entitles us to use their logo on our website and documents. It also means that we have obtained the ‘Deem to Satisfy’ rating, which allows us to register with the SSIP (Safety Scheme in Procurement).
You can view our CHAS Certificate here.
Constructionline
Originally created as a Government department, Constructionline open up opportunities for its members to access a wide range of procurement contracts and projects. They also give buyers access to a validated pool of high-quality suppliers.
Our accreditation with them means that we have completed their required PAS 91 enhanced questionnaire and have been deemed fit-to-supply. The PAS 91 questionnaire was developed by the British Standards Institute and denotes the minimum standards required for construction procurement.

SSIP
The Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) was developed as an umbrella body to give confidence to buyers that their suppliers have been assessed to the CDM 2015 regulations as well as the SSIP core criteria. Being registered with them ensures that we meet both of these conditions.
